ART IS A JOURNEY OF A FREE SOUL
"Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist".
- Pablo Picasso
Today I’m going to share something that is helping me become a better version. I had a real hard time just sitting at the table talking or watching television within the pandemic.
I nearly always have some kind so art going inside me, and it keeps me calm, there's something so totally calming in doodling. Whether I’m rooted in work, past or personal relationships, stress has become a huge part of our lives. Stress can have negative effects on physical and psychological systems. An inability to positively control or manage stress may cause inappropriate behaviour like overeating, or neglecting feelings.
'Creativity is a drug I cannot live without'
Art for wellbeing has been an excellent therapeutic approach in my lifestyle to stay my stress levels low and my contentedness high. It's an approach that involves the creative processes of art to enhance my life. For instance, drawing, colouring, painting, doodling, and sculpting are all art forms which can be used as a way of therapy.
Using art as a medium helped me healing promotes, self-exploration, understanding, self-esteem, and awareness. For me, it's more of improving my mental, emotional, and physical states, also as my overall health. I exploit imagery, colours, shapes, and styles as a neighbourhood of my therapeutic process, my thoughts and feelings are expressed through my art, instead of words that are often difficult to articulate to others.
This suggests that you simply don't need to verbalize how you're feeling. However, the healing potential of art isn't only effective during a counselling or psychotherapy setting but also clams me.
I think this works as therapy on behalf of me because I feel once you go far inside yourself, that's where you discover your deepest mind. And it’s really wonderful once you are having a drag in your life, something is causing you pain or anxiety, and by going inside you'll find what it's that triggers those feelings. And since you're during a safe place, you'll examine it, then you'll begin to abandoning of it. This is often where true healing happens, inside.
And by not finding those things and not facing them down, you'll always be bothered by them, most of the time not even knowing what proportion hard they cause. You set yourself up to be hurt by trying to urge them to fill the holes you've got inside. But if you are feeling safe and secure in yourself, you furthermore may aren't susceptible to people who would use you.

When I produce art with my very own hands, there's increased neural connectivity within the area of the brain that deals with introspection, memory, and self-monitoring. This suggests that this area is more active when engaged in producing art. Mentally, I become more psychologically resilient, I've increased positive perspectives, and become more self-aware. This helps me deal with future problems, stressors, or events. It's said that the pairing of truly creating the art (motor processing) and brooding about (cognitive processing) is what makes art for wellbeing so beneficial.

I’m just learning and this is my passion, and that I didn’t mean to travel off on a lecture. Just go doodle, have fun, draw, play with clay, something that takes your mind off the planet for touch while. May you all find peace in your hearts.
